The All Access 5K is going to be bigger and better than ever in 2010! Come see the 20,000 seat Amphitheater like never before!  The race will take runners throughout the venue grounds which includes, the backstage area, walkways, and parking grounds. This flat, fast course will start and finish backstage.

Moe's 5K Challenge
Participants who elect to take on the Moe’s Challenge will run the first half of the 5k and then stop at the Moe’s Plaza where they will have to finish a Joey Jr. burrito before completing the second half of the race.  The winner of this race will receive FREE Moe’s Burritos for a YEAR!

5K Race Registration:

No Transfers of Entry

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1.  What do I get for my entry fee?
All Access 5k participants will receive a short sleeve technical shirt and a All Access Finishers Pass.  All Access 1-mile participants will receive a short sleeve cotton t-shirt.  Participants are invited to the post race festivities which include food, beer, music(Band TBD) and great  raffles from various restaurants and beach hotels. Also, participants will get a tour from the venue including the backstage dressing rooms used by all the top performers.

2.  How can I sign up for the events?

3.  What are the age limits for the races?
There are no age limits.  We encourage participants of all ages to join us!

4.  Are the races walker friendly?
Yes, we will have plenty of participants that will walk.

5.  Where can I find a course map?

6.  What will the weather be like in Virginia Beach in early October?
The average high is 71 degrees and the average low is 53 degrees during October.

7.  What can I do before and after the race?

8.  Will I receive a refund if I cannot attend?
There are absolutely no refunds, no exceptions.

9.  Are baby joggers or strollers allowed during the race?
No.  This is to ensure runner safety and comply with liability insurance policies.

10. Are pets allowed during the race?

12.  How will I receive my race packet?
You must pick up your race packet prior to the event. 
We will not mail you race packets. 

You may NOT pick them up on race day.

13.  Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes, as long as they have a copy of your photo ID and a letter signed by you providing permission for someone else to pick up your packet.

15.  Can I register on race day?
NO, There will be no race day registration.

16.  Do you take credit cards for late registration at Checkered Flag?
No, we only accept cash and checks for registration in person. Visit our registration page at RaceIT.com to use a credit card.

RACE INFORMATION:

17. Will there be water stops?
Yes, at approx. 1.5 miles.

19.  Where can we park for the races?
Parking will be at the VB Amphitheater within a few hundred meters of registration and start/finish.

20. What time should I be there/What do I need to bring?
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of your event. All 5k runners need to put their timing chips on their ankles. All runners in both the 5k and Mile should wear their bib/race number on their front.

21. What are the start times?
5k race start- 6:30 pm
1 Mile race start- 6:00 pm

22. Is there a time limit?
No.

AWARDS:

23. Will there be an awards ceremony?
Yes, there will be an awards ceremony for all the participants at approximately 7:00 pm at the All Access After Party.

24. Will there be prize money?
Yes, for the top 3 overall men and women and the mail and female winners of the Moe's Challenge. The prize purse is over $500 in cash and prizes.

25. What are the award groups?
The top 3 men and women: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65 & up will receive commemorative award winner t-shirts and other awards.

Participants will have the chance to celebrate their accomplishments with FREE food from Moe's Southwest Grill, beverages, and live music by Cheap Thrills. The post race party will also include an award ceremony and raffles. Runners will also be given a chance to tour artist's dressing rooms. Your race number serves as your FREE entry to the VIP party!!
